For production environments, a proper ratcheting crimper (Omron makes a decent one, or you can get German brands for $60-120) is a much better investment.

Also: if you're buying medical devices for personal use, the cost structure is different. An Omron BP machine for home use at $50 vs. $60 likely doesn't have the same hidden fees because the purchase is simple. My experience is mainly B2B, and the suppliers operate differently there.
So, bottom line? Chase total cost, not unit price. Ask 'what's not included?' before you ask 'how much?' And if the quote looks too good to be true, it probably is. That lesson cost me about $1,200 in my first year. Hopefully it saves you more than that.
